Privacy Policy

This site (garmin.silverostudios.com) is run by Silvero Studios, an independent developer based in Cork, Ireland. We keep this simple: we only ask for what we need, we never sell your data, and you can opt out any time. This page explains exactly what happens to the information you share.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to type into a form:
- Email address — when you sign up for updates or the Garmin Insider list, or submit an idea on the Idea Board.
- First name — optional, on the home page signup, so emails can greet you.
- Your idea and notes — only if you submit them on the Idea Board.
We do not use advertising trackers or cookies for profiling. We don't collect your location, and we don't fingerprint your device.
Visitor counts
To know roughly how many people visit this site, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is privacy-first by design: it sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and does not build a profile of you or follow you to other websites. It records only page-level basics — which page was loaded, the referring site, country, browser and device type, and load speed — with no persistent identifier that could tie those visits back to you. Because it uses no cookies and no client-side storage, there is no cookie banner on this site. Cloudflare's handling of that data is covered by its privacy policy. If you'd rather not be counted at all, any tracker blocker or your browser's Do Not Track setting will stop the script from loading.
Our watch faces & apps
Our Garmin Connect IQ watch faces and apps (such as StockWatch) run on your Garmin device. Any settings you choose are stored on your device and in your Garmin account through Garmin Connect — they are not sent to us. Watch faces that display live information, like stock quotes, fetch only that public market data; they do not transmit your identity, your location or your Garmin account details to Silvero Studios. Data handled inside Connect IQ is also subject to Garmin's own privacy policy.
Why we collect it
- To send you new app drops, watch faces and Garmin lessons you asked for.
- To reply to an idea you submitted and let you know if it gets built.
The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form.
Who processes it
Form submissions are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to a Cloudflare Worker, which passes your email to Systeme.io, our email provider, where the list is stored. Anonymous visitor counts are processed by Cloudflare as described above. These providers process the data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We never sell, rent or trade your information.
When you toggle light/dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (a key called ss_theme). It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and isn't a tracking cookie.
How long we keep it
We keep your email on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Idea submissions are kept while the feature is under consideration.
Your choices & rights
- Unsubscribe any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send.
- Access or delete your data — just email us and we'll handle it.
- Under GDPR you can request a copy of your data, correct it, or have it erased.
